Vision for Education Ltd are recruiting Cover Supervisors to work across a range of secondary schools in Ashbourne. You will supervise classes in the absence of the regular teacher, ensuring students remain engaged and on task.

This role offers flexibility with daily supply, short-term placements, or longer-term opportunities across diverse school settings, helping maintain high standards of behaviour and continuity in learning.

Qualifications

• Experience working in a school or education environment is essential.
• Strong classroom and behaviour management skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to follow lesson plans and support student learning.
• Flexibility and adaptability across different school settings.
• A genuine interest in supporting young people's development.

Responsibilities

• Supervise classes across Key Stages 3-5 following lesson plans provided by teaching staff.
• Maintain student engagement, behaviour, and safety.
• Support learning by assisting students with tasks where appropriate.
• Adapt to the needs of different classes and school environments.
• Report back to teaching staff on student progress and behaviour.
