Job summary

Aspire People is recruiting experienced Cover Supervisors for a large Hull secondary school. You will work on flexible, day-to-day assignments, supervising students in the absence of teachers and delivering pre-prepared materials across various subjects.

Candidates should have UK secondary school experience, a bachelor’s degree or higher, and strong classroom and behaviour-management skills. Term-time only with flexible hours and days.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher is required.
• Previous UK secondary school experience is essential.
• Experience with secondary-aged students and managing a classroom independently.
• Excellent communication and behaviour-management skills.

Responsibilities

• Supervise students in the absence of their regular teacher.
• Deliver pre-prepared lesson materials.
• Maintain a calm, safe and productive classroom.
• Support students with their learning.
• Manage classroom behaviour effectively.
• Work across different subjects and year groups.
• Ensure students stay focused and engaged during lessons.
