Job summary

Practice Plus Group Hospital Birmingham is seeking an experienced Consultant General Surgeon to deliver a full range of elective general surgery in a modern, purpose-built facility.

The role offers flexible, bank/contract work with ad-hoc late evenings and weekend shifts; part-time options considered. You will work closely with consultants across specialties and with the Medical Director and Leadership Team.

Qualifications

• Qualified surgeon on the GMC specialist register.
• Experience in general surgery, especially laparoscopic procedures.
• Able to conduct clinical audits.
• Able to communicate well with patients and staff.
• Committed to continuing medical education and professional development.

Responsibilities

• Provide a full range of surgical diagnosis, treatment and care to inpatients, day patients and outpatients.
• Collaborate with Consultants across specialisms and hospital leadership; flexible and ad-hoc rota.
• Deliver high-quality elective care in a modern hospital setting.
