Job summary

The Celtic Collection is hiring a Casual Conference Porter at ICC Wales in Newport. This zero-hours position offers flexible shifts including weekdays, evenings and weekends, with duties across conference, meeting and banqueting spaces.

You will assist with event setups, layouts and equipment handling, ensuring safety, cleanliness and guest satisfaction while representing a professional, guest-focused ethos and smart uniform presentation.

Responsibilities

• Setting up and clearing conference, meeting and banqueting spaces to the highest standards.
• Assisting with room layouts and event preparations for a variety of prestigious functions.
• Supporting clients and guests with the movement and positioning of equipment as required.
• Operating and caring for conference equipment, ensuring it is clean, safe and ready for use.
• Working collaboratively with the Conference & Events team to deliver exceptional guest experiences.
