Job summary

The Celtic Collection at Celtic Manor Resort in Newport, Wales, is seeking a Casual Conference Porter to support our Conference & Banqueting team behind the scenes during events. You will help set up and break down meeting and banqueting spaces, assist guests with equipment and movement, and keep work areas clean, safe and well-presented.

Experience in a customer-facing role and good communication are essential, along with basic IT skills and the ability to handle manual tasks.

Responsibilities

• Setting up and breaking down meeting and banqueting spaces to high resort standards.
• Supporting guests and clients with equipment or parcel movement.

• Looking after C&B equipment and reporting issues promptly.
• Working closely with your team to deliver exceptional customer service.
• Attending training, briefings and contributing to a positive team culture.
• Promoting resort facilities through excellent knowledge and communication.
