Job summary

Cardiff Council's Development and Regeneration team seeks an experienced Programme Manager to lead the Pride in Place Programme on behalf of the Council as the accountable body. You will ensure the programme is planned, governed, managed and monitored in line with objectives and UK Government funding requirements.

The role involves supporting the long-term Pride in Place Plan, enabling the Neighbourhood Board, providing strategic advice and professional support to enable community-led decision

Qualifications

• Experience in developing and delivering regeneration programmes and major investment initiatives.
• Strong understanding of governance, assurance and performance reporting.
• Ability to influence stakeholders and manage competing priorities.

Responsibilities

• Lead the development, coordination and delivery of the Pride in Place Programme.
• Oversee governance, financial management, monitoring and risk across a portfolio of projects.
• Collaborate with the Neighbourhood Board, residents, and partners to ensure community priorities are translated into plans.
