Job summary

Academics is seeking a Supply Chemistry Teacher to cover temporary, flexible opportunities across Doncaster, South Yorkshire. You will teach Chemistry across KS3 and KS4 and support pupils to develop scientific understanding.

To be considered, you should hold QTS (or equivalent) with Chemistry teaching experience, strong classroom management and excellent communication. DBS check preferred or willingness to obtain one. Flexible start dates and competitive daily rates apply.

• Strong classroom management skills.

Responsibilities

• Deliver engaging Chemistry lessons across KS3 and KS4.
• Support pupils' scientific understanding and progress.
• Adapt lessons to meet different learning needs.
• Maintain positive behaviour and classroom routines.
• Follow school curriculum and safeguarding expectations.
• Provide general secondary cover where appropriate.
• Build positive relationships with pupils and staff.
