Job summary

Academics in Doncaster is seeking a Maths Teacher to cover KS3 & KS4 on a flexible, ongoing supply basis across a range of secondary schools.

You will deliver engaging Maths lessons, manage classrooms, support pupil progress, and adapt lessons to different needs, with start ASAP and PAYE pay rates of 140–195 per day.

This role welcomes Experienced Teachers and ECTs, with opportunities for broader secondary cover.

Qualifications

• QTS with Maths teaching experience.
• Ability to manage classes effectively and communicate clearly.
• Experience in Education and Training is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Deliver engaging Maths lessons across KS3 & KS4.
• Maintain positive behaviour and classroom routines.
• Support pupil progress and engagement.
• Adapt learning to meet different pupil needs.
• Follow school planning and curriculum expectations.
• Provide general secondary cover when required.
• Follow safeguarding procedures at all times.
