Job summary

The Staffordshire Schools Multi Academy Trust is seeking a Catering Supervisor to oversee kitchen operations across its 6 Trust schools, delivering nutritious, budget-conscious meals for pupils.

We offer true flexibility with 7 weekly hours arranged around you, term-time working, and opportunities for extra hours during peak times such as menu rollouts and festive periods. You will travel between sites to lead and support kitchen teams.

Qualifications

• Practical knowledge of food safety, hygiene regulations, and compliance documentation.
• Strong understanding of School Food Standards and menu costing.
• Excellent communication and time-management skills, travel between Trust sites.

Responsibilities

• Visit our 6 kitchen sites regularly to ensure hygiene standards, smooth day-to-day operations, and up-to-date compliance paperwork.
• Design creative, appealing menus that strictly adhere to national School Food Standards while working within set financial budgets.
• Act as a knowledgeable guide and support link for on-site kitchen teams.
