Job summary

Advance Housing & Support Ltd in Hampshire is seeking a Female Casual Support Worker to assist customers with learning disabilities, autism, complex needs or mental health conditions to live the lives they choose. You’ll join a flexible, values-driven organisation that supports career development and values staff wellbeing.

You don’t need prior care experience; your values, enthusiasm and ability to follow care plans and record updates are key.

Qualifications

• You don’t need previous care experience; your values and determination matter.
• Able to follow a Support Plan and Risk Assessments and maintain records.
• Literacy and numeracy in English required; ability to complete quality records.

Responsibilities

• Assisting with personal care and hygiene (if required).
• Medication administration (if required).
• Support with preparing and cooking meals.
• Support with attending medical appointments.
• Support with social activities.
• Support with independent skills.
• Support with domestic duties such as cleaning and laundry.
• Keeping accurate records and updating care plans as required.
• Keeping up to date with your training.
• Ensuring the premises are secure and safe during the night.
• Supporting with meal times and food preparation (if required).
• Supporting with regular checks on the customer to ensure their safety.
