Job summary

Advance Housing & Support Ltd in Ferndown, Dorset, is seeking a dedicated Support Worker on a 25 contracted hour week to assist with personal care, meals, appointments and social activities. The role supports people with learning disabilities, autism and complex needs, offering training and development opportunities in a caring environment.

The successful candidate will work a mix of days and weekends, contribute to care plans, and maintain accurate records.

Qualifications

• Must be able to work on your own and in a team.
• Excellent communication skills with people.
• Able to complete accurate care records and documentation.
• Willingness to work every other weekend and shifts 7:00–22:30.
• Able to work sleep-ins when required and follow Care Plans.
• Must be literate and numerate in English; willing to achieve the Care Certificate.

Responsibilities
