Job summary

Tesco PLC café team member role in the UK seeks an enthusiastic individual to assist in cooking, serving, and maintaining food safety standards. You will keep daily records and ensure menus are served accurately.

You will rotate stock FIFO, handle deliveries, uphold a clean environment, and provide excellent customer service with a proactive attitude. Flexible hours and progression opportunities are offered.

Responsibilities

• Follow food safety and hygiene regulations and keep daily records.
• Practice FIFO stock rotation to keep food fresh.
• Accept deliveries and store food safely.
• Prepare, cook, and serve food according to the menu.
• Resolve customer complaints and support the Café Manager.
• Keep café clean and tidy; clear and sanitise tables.
• Maintain standards and ensure food availability.
• Know the café menu inside and out and serve as intended.
• Stay up-to-date with business communications and initiatives.
• Be part of the café team delivering great service.
