Job summary

Honda Motor Europe is seeking a Business Analyst on a 6‑month contract. You will translate business needs into clear requirements for technology solutions, supporting process redesign, testing, and ongoing system enhancements.

You will work with internal stakeholders and external providers to ensure requirements are defined, documented and aligned to standards. The role offers hybrid work options and collaboration across IS and business teams.

Qualifications

• Demonstrable experience of business analysis, including gathering, analysing and documenting business and user requirements.
• Experience of Request for Proposal, tender or supplier-selection processes.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to assess operations and identify improvement opportunities.
• Ability to define user requirements using techniques including user stories and story maps.
• Ability to challenge business cases constructively with evidence and judgement.
• Excellent written and verbal communication, with ability to present to senior stakeholders.
• Experience planning or facilitating stakeholder and supplier workshops.
• Ability to build effective relationships with stakeholders, IS colleagues and external providers.
• Ability to work independently, organise priorities and own deliverables.
• Curiosity to understand cross-organisation activities and integration points.
• Experience within the automotive industry and its business environment.

Responsibilities

• Support stakeholders in developing business cases and opportunities for process improvement and automation.
• Gather, analyse and document business requirements and communicate them throughout the project lifecycle.
• Build relationships and act as a liaison between business functions, IS and external providers.
• Analyse existing processes and recommend efficiency improvements.
• Translate business requirements into functional designs with technical teams.
• Develop and maintain BA artefacts and documentation.
• Support testing activities, including UAT and test-case development.
• Facilitate workshops and requirements-gathering sessions.
• Assist with procurement activities and supplier documentation where required.
• Contribute to post-implementation reviews and ongoing BA practices.
