Job summary

Choice Support is looking for Bank Support Workers in Hazlemere, Buckinghamshire to help people with learning disabilities, autism, and mental health needs lead lives full of choice and opportunity.

You will work a 0 hour contract with a 24/7 service requirement, including sleep-ins, supporting individuals to stay safe and engaged in daily activities. Training and support from senior staff will help you set boundaries and nurture positive futures.

Qualifications

• Genuine empathy and resilience to support people through difficult times.
• Excellent face to face communication and a good standard of literacy.
• Good time management and the ability to prioritise workload.
• Safer recruitment steps include DBS checks and reference checks.

Responsibilities

• Support people in daily activities including cooking, cleaning and leisure.
• Facilitate activities and games to encourage participation.
• Assist with managing challenging behaviours and ensuring safety.
• Sleep-ins may be required as part of the 24/7 service.
