Job summary

Richmond Fellowship Scotland Ltd in Castle Douglas is recruiting Bank Support Practitioners to provide flexible, part-time shifts covering leave, training or sickness. You will work with individuals in their own homes, offering daily living support and emotional assistance within a supportive community framework.

No care experience is required as we recruit on values and transferable skills and provide comprehensive training. A UK driving licence (manual) and access to your own car are mandatory.

Qualifications

• Full training will be provided for Bank Support Practitioners.
• UK Driving Licence (Manual) and access to your own car are required.

Responsibilities

• Cover shifts to ensure high-quality, person-centred care during leave, training or sickness.
• Support individuals living at home with disabilities and/or additional needs.
• Assist with daily living: meals, medication, appointments, finances, moving and handling, personal care.
• Provide emotional support and help maintain relationships with family and friends.
