Job summary

Agincare Group is seeking a Registered Nurse for bank/zero-hour shifts in our care home services across the UK. The role requires an NMC pin valid to practice and the ability to work across days, nights and weekends as needed.

Applicants should have at least 12 months right to work in the UK, evidence of CPD, and ideally prior care home experience. This is a zero-hour contract offering flexible scheduling to match resident needs and service requirements.

Qualifications

• Valid NMC pin without restrictions to practice
• Right to work in the UK (minimum 12 months)
• Evidence of recent clinical CPD
• Experience working in a care home setting is preferable
• Bank / zero-hour contract; flexible to day, night and weekends as required

Responsibilities

• Assisting residents with personal care in line with individual care plans
• Liaising with care home management, family members, social workers and medical professionals to meet resident needs
• Administering and recording medications safely in line with policy
• Monitoring residents' nutrition and hydration and updating care plans as needed
• Monitoring risks such as pressure ulcers and bowel/bladder changes
• Participating in activities and promoting resident engagement
