Job summary

Shaw healthcare is seeking a passionate Bank Nurse to join Burleys Wood in Crawley. The role is bank/zero hours with shift times as needed, including 07:45-20:15 or 20:00-08:00, providing high-quality nursing care to elderly residents.

You will administer medications, develop care plans, liaise with healthcare professionals, and support residents with daily living activities. NMC registration and dementia care experience preferred, with commitment to professional development.

Qualifications

• Registered nurse with NMC validation and current registration.
• Experience in elderly care, including dementia care.
• Understanding of Care Quality Commission (CQC) regulations and standards.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work as part of a team and independently.
• Commitment to ongoing professional development.

Responsibilities
