Shaw healthcare in Crawley is hiring a passionate and dedicated Nurse to join Burleys Wood care home. You will provide high standards of nursing care for elderly residents, including dementia care, with 12-hour day shifts on a four-week rota and weekend coverage as needed.

The role involves administering medications, care planning, liaising with professionals, and supporting residents with daily activities while upholding CQC standards.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Assessing patients health and care needs and developing care plans.
• Administering medication and monitoring service users' responses.
• Providing nursing care, including wound and palliative care.
• Liaising with other healthcare professionals to coordinate personalised care.
• Supporting service users with daily living activities such as bathing and dressing.
• Providing emotional support to service users and families.
• Maintaining accurate, up-to-date records.
• Working within CQC guidelines to maintain high standards of care.
• Contributing to policy, procedure development and staff induction.
