Spire Parkway Hospital in Solihull seeks a Medical Records Administrator to join on a bank basis. The role supports the Medical Records department with filing, tracking and retrieval of patient records across the hospital.

Responsibilities include tracking movement of notes, maintaining records to standards, and liaising with wards and off-site storage while handling information under GDPR and hospital policies.

Qualifications

• Previous administration or customer service experience.
• Good IT and organisational skills.
• Strong communication skills and a professional telephone manner.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Knowledge of GDPR and data protection principles.

Responsabilités

• Track and record movement of case notes.
• File, retrieve and prepare patient records for departments and clinics.
• Maintain and update medical records to standards.
• Liaise with wards, departments and off-site storage.
• Handle patient information in line with GDPR and hospital policies.
