Job summary

Bridge College, part of the Together Trust, is seeking a Bank Learning Support Assistant to support students with learning difficulties and participate in a multidisciplinary team across education and therapy activities in Manchester.

You will assist with 1-1 and small group sessions, manage records, and contribute to planning while maintaining confidentiality and safeguarding. A flexible, student-centered approach is essential.

Qualifications

• Experience supporting students with learning difficulties.
• Ability to work as part of a multidisciplinary team.
• Willingness to perform personal care and adapt to varied shifts.

Responsibilities

• Provide support and guidance to young people by removing barriers to learning and facilitating transitions.
• Contribute to planning, recording and evidencing progression.
• Support timetable activities, including swimming, hydrotherapy and other therapy/leisure sessions.
• Maintain records using college information systems.
• Assist with planning and review processes.
• Liaise with families and carers while maintaining confidentiality.
