Job summary

YMCA DownsLink Group is seeking Bank Supported Housing Support Workers to join the Guildford Foyer. This flexible bank role offers ad hoc shifts seven days a week, including 08:00-16:00 and 14:00-22:00 patterns, with particular need for 14:00-22:00 on Tue, Thu, Sat and Sun.

The Guildford Foyer houses 33 young people, aged 16-25, and operates 24/7 with a trauma-informed approach. You will work with experienced teams to provide practical and emotional support, build relationships, and help

Qualifications

• Experience of working with young people or in sheltered housing, care, education or community settings.
• Ability to understand challenges and opportunities facing young people.
• Approachable, compassionate and resilient with a commitment to empowering young people.
