Job summary

Housing 21 is recruiting Bank Care Workers to support residents across multiple North Region sites, including Gateshead. You’ll work flexible hours with no guaranteed schedule, delivering compassionate care in independent living schemes with shared facilities. Strong English communication and a kind, proactive attitude are essential.

Responsibilities

• Support residents with household tasks such as laundry, shopping, cleaning and bill payments.
• Prepare meals, drinks and snacks as needed.
• Encourage and enable residents to follow care plans.
• Assist with personal care, including washing, bathing, dressing and medication compliance.
• Ensure residents’ wellbeing by going the extra mile and keeping managers informed.
