Job summary

Home Group Limited is seeking a Flexible Bank Support Worker to help customers with daily living tasks and support their independence across Teesside, Durham and Sunderland services.

You will pick shifts at short notice, work across different services and locations, and contribute to person‑centred care plans with compassionate, calm decision‑making in a busy housing support environment.

Qualifications

• Flexibility to pick up shifts at short notice.
• Confidence to work across services, locations or teams.
• Passion and experience in supporting others, ideally in supported housing.
• Experience of caring for others – professionally or personally.
• Calm, confident decision‑making even under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with daily living tasks to build independence and meet goals in their support plans.
• Support vulnerable customers in a variety of services.
• Assist with budgeting, cooking and attending appointments.
• Carry out risk assessments, support planning and regular reviews.
• Help customers prepare for move‑on into the community.
