Job summary

Active Stars in Crawley is seeking a friendly School Breakfast Club/After School Club Assistant to join our wraparound care team. The role involves working with primary school children aged 4–11, helping run activities, prep snacks, and ensure the club runs smoothly during morning and after-school sessions.

Shifts are flexible, making this ideal for someone looking for a few mornings or afternoons a week. An Enhanced DBS check is required, and we offer staff discounts, uniform, and a supportive

Qualifications

• Experience working with children or in a similar environment is beneficial.
• An Enhanced DBS check will be required.

Responsibilities

• Supporting children during free play and activities
• Helping run games, crafts and other fun activities
• Preparing and serving snacks/breakfast
• Helping set up and tidy away the club space
• Creating a safe, welcoming and inclusive environment for all children
• Following safeguarding and health & safety procedures
• Supporting the Club Manager with the day-to-day running of the club
