Job summary

eTeach UK Limited is seeking a Flexi Nursery Practitioner to work across Wishford's Day Nurseries. The role offers flexible shifts and exposure to two purpose-built nurseries, allowing variety beyond a single setting.

The ideal candidate will have EYFS understanding, experience planning activities for 0-5, and strong communication with children and parents. A Level 2+ in Early Years is optional but beneficial.

Qualifications

• Strong understanding of the EYFS curriculum.
• Experience planning activities for children aged 0-5.
• Completed Early Years Level qualification (Level 2 or above) is not essential.
• Ability to create a stimulating learning environment for young learners.
• Excellent communication with children and parents.

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver a range of age-appropriate activities.
• Maintain a safe, stimulating environment for children while delivering activities.
• Support the nursery ethos with the staff team.
• Promote good staff practices and safety across the Nursery.
• Liaise with and support your room leader.
• Ensure child development records are updated where applicable.
• Attend to young children's toileting needs and follow policies.
• Adhere to safeguarding, health and safety and food hygiene policies.

Skills

• An excellent understanding of the EYFS curriculum
• Experience in planning inspiring activities for children aged 0-5 to explore and enjoy
• Have a completed Early Years Level qualification (Level 2 or above) (not essential)
• Be confident in creating a stimulating environment that enables children to become confident learners
• Excellent communicator with the ability to quickly build relationships with the children and their parents

Responsibilities

• To plan and deliver a range of age-appropriate activities focusing on each individual child's interests
• To ensure that a safe, stimulating environment is maintained for children while overseeing the implementation of activities
• To work alongside the staff team to ensure that the Nursery's ethos is being fulfilled
• To work with all staff in promoting good staff practices across the Nursery and always ensure the safety of the children and their environment
• To liaise with and fully support your room leader
• To ensure that all child development records are updated, where applicable
• To discreetly attend to young children's toileting needs
• To agree to the policies and procedures and carry them out to the best of your ability
• To adhere to all nursery policies on safeguarding, health and safety and food hygiene etc.
