Job summary

Storal Learning Ltd. is seeking a Nursery Practitioner to cover day-to-day needs across multiple nurseries, delivering the Storal curriculum with care and attention to each child’s pace and personality.

The role involves planning activities, observing progress, and supporting personal care, with travel to nearby nurseries as required. You will hold a Level 3 Early Years qualification, have experience with Early Years settings, and be willing to travel within the Winchester area.

Qualifications

• Early Years qualification at Level 3.
• Experience of working with all age groups within Early Years settings.
• Knowledge of the EYFS framework would be advantageous.
• Have a full clean UK driving licence and access to a car.
• Be willing to travel within the Winchester area.

Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day cover and support where needed.

Hours: Full Time, 40 hours per week Monday - Friday
Salary: £16.00 per hour

The Team

Our Nursery Support Team is in the North East and will cover the following nurseries, Archway Nursery (DT11 8TX), Barney Lodge Nursery (BA12 0AN), Blossom Tree Nursery (BS20 6BQ) and Treehouse Nursery (BS7 0XY). We have a wide variety of remarkable nurseries where our experienced and passionate team brings a wealth of early years expertise. We know that every child is unique, with their own story to tell, so we tailor our approach to suit each child’s pace, personality, and interests ensuring they feel supported, seen, and celebrated.

How you’ll spend your time here

In this role, you will work closely with Mandy and the Nursery Managers to provide day-to-day cover and support where it is needed most. Flexibility is key, as your schedule may vary week to week.

You’ll plan activities, observe progress and manage personal care for children. Applying the Storal curriculum & our pedagogy principles to our children daily.

Whilst seeking out learning opportunities in everyday routines such as mealtimes & transitions. Bonding with your children and their families by engaging in meaningful moments.

• An Early Years qualification at Level 3
