Job summary

Storal is seeking a Nursery Practitioner to provide day-to-day cover across a network of nurseries in the Nottingham area. You will plan activities, observe progress and support children with personal care while applying the Storal curriculum and pedagogy daily.

The role requires an Early Years Level 3 qualification and experience with EYFS. A full UK driving licence and access to a car are needed, with travel within the Winchester area as part of the duties.

Qualifications

• Early Years qualification at Level 3 is required or preferred.
• Experience working with all age groups in Early Years settings is expected.
• Knowledge of the EYFS framework is advantageous.
• A full clean UK driving licence and access to a car are required.
• Willingness to travel within the Winchester area (as advertised) is requested.

Responsibilities

The Team

You’ll be joining Mandy’s team of area support Nursery Practitioners, Mandy has 35 years of experience in childcare having working in several roles including Nursery Manager and Area Manager.

Our Nursery Support Team is in the North East and will cover the following nurseries, Main Street (NG10 1GR), Derby Road (NG10 4AX), Hathern (LE12 5JB), Shepshed (LE12 9DA), Bilborough (NG8 3AJ), Toton (NG9 6HE), Grantham (NG31 7XQ), Plumtree (NG12 5NA). We have a wide variety of remarkable nurseries where our experienced and passionate team brings a wealth of early years expertise. We know that every child is unique, with their own story to tell, so we tailor our approach to suit each child’s pace, personality, and interests ensuring they feel supported, seen, and celebrated.

How You’ll Spend Your Time Here

In this role, you will work closely with Mandy and the Nursery Managers to provide day-to-day cover and support where it is needed most. Flexibility is key, as your schedule may vary week to week.

You’ll plan activities, observe progress and manage personal care for children. Applying the Storal curriculum & our pedagogy principles to our children daily.

Whilst seeking out learning opportunities in everyday routines such as mealtimes & transitions. Bonding with your children and their families by engaging in meaningful moments.

• An Early Years qualification at Level 3
• Experience of working with all age groups within Early Years settings
