The role provides day-to-day admin and coordination support to the HGV/LCV and Plant Workshop Managers, acting as a vital link between Workshop Management, Service Reception and Parts Department.

You will handle calls, bookings and paperwork, ensuring information flows smoothly across teams and operations.

• Proficient in MS Office and general computer-based administration.
• Good communication with people across departments.

Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day administrative support to Workshop Managers (HGV/LCV and Plant).
• Act as a key link between Workshop Management, Service Reception and Parts Department.
• Handle telephone calls, inquiries and messages, ensuring timely communication.
• Assist with job cards, workshop records, and service documentation.
• Coordinate bookings and customer requirements with Service Reception.
• Coordinate with Parts Department on parts availability and workshop priorities.
• Follow up information to maintain smooth workshop workflow.
• Assist with operational reporting and performance monitoring.
• Maintain accurate electronic records as required.
• Identify delays or gaps and raise them for resolution.
• Support cross-department communication and resolve day-to-day issues professionally.
• Provide general administrative support to the Service Department.
