Job summary

Royal Mail is seeking a Vehicle Technician to join the North West Hub Workshop. You will diagnose, inspect, maintain and repair a wide range of vehicles in a large fleet, including LCVs and HGVs, in a modern workshop environment. A Level 3 qualification and own toolkit are expected, with a flexible shift pattern and full UK driving licence.

Qualifications

• Advanced level mechanic with own toolkit for standard repairs.
• Experience on a wide range of vehicles, including light and heavy classes.
• Ability to work in a modern workshop and follow safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Perform full range of inspections, diagnostics, maintenance and repairs on a variety of vehicles.
• Work in a modern workshop using specialist tooling and your own tools.
• Contribute to the fleet maintenance and quality standards.
