Job summary

Royal Mail Group is seeking an experienced Fleet Workshop Manager to lead maintenance across Skipton, York, Hull and Scarborough, ensuring safety, compliance and vehicle availability to support the Royal Mail network.

You will lead around 25 colleagues, plan resources across the cluster, and drive continuous improvement while building strong relationships with customers, trade unions and fleet stakeholders.

Qualifications

• IMI Level 3 qualification in Light or Heavy Vehicle Maintenance & Repair.
• Experience leading, coaching or developing others in a workshop or maintenance setting.
• Strong knowledge of vehicle compliance and road transport legislation.
• Ability to plan resources and manage multiple sites.
• Willingness to travel between sites within the cluster.

• Lead safe and legally compliant maintenance across the cluster.
• Plan maintenance, people and resources across multiple sites.
• Coach and develop colleagues to build a high-performing team.
• Drive safety, compliance, cost, people, quality and customer service measures.
