Job summary

Veolia is hiring a Workshop Supervisor in Rochester. You will maintain Veolia fleet, diagnose issues, and perform repairs to high safety standards. You’ll coordinate technicians, manage contractors, and ensure accurate documentation and timely updates.

Qualifications

• City & Guilds or HGV NVQ Level 3 vehicle maintenance and repairs.
• Good communication skills and ability to work under pressure.
• IT skills and flexibility to handle varied tasks.

Responsibilities

• Repair and maintain Veolia fleet and 3rd party vehicles to standards.
• Perform diagnostics and hydraulic, electrical, and pneumatic repairs.
• Ensure Health & Safety compliance and safe workplaces.
• Complete paperwork and timesheets accurately and timely.
• Conduct HGV MOT inspections and emergency roadside repairs.
• Coordinate work allocation and serve as lead contact for technicians.
• Manage contractor communications and depot coverage.
• Oversee weekly workshop inspections and job card processes.
• Ensure smooth shift handovers and high technician productivity.
• Coordinate holidays and training across all depots.
