Job summary

Talent Connect Group in Peterborough is seeking an experienced Vehicle Technician/Mechanic to join a busy independent workshop. You will service, maintain and repair a wide range of cars and light commercial vehicles, including fleet work, in a modern workshop.

Working hours are Monday to Friday, 8:00am – 6:00pm. The role offers a salary up to £38,000 per year plus an annual bonus and ongoing training and development opportunities.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Vehicle Technician or Mechanic.
• Experience servicing and repairing a wide range of vehicles.
• Full UK driving licence (or equivalent).

Responsibilities

• Carry out servicing, maintenance and repairs on cars and light commercial vehicles.
• Diagnose faults using diagnostic equipment and fault-finding techniques.
• Interpret results to identify root causes and determine repairs.
• Complete MOT preparation and remedial work where required.
• Maintain workshop documentation and keep the workspace safe and clean.
