COLAS ROADS UK is recruiting a Panel Beater / Bodyshop Technician for our Ringmer site. You will repair and restore a range of fleet vehicles, including specialized fire and police units, to pre-accident condition, adhering to safety standards and quality processes.

Ideal candidates have NVQ Level III or City & Guilds with at least three years’ experience, a full clean licence, and a strong eye for detail. The role offers a permanent contract, a 40-hour week, overtime paid at time and a half,

Qualifications

• NVQ Level III or City & Guilds qualification in vehicle body repair.
• Minimum of three years’ experience in a similar panel beating role.
• Strong knowledge of repairing specialist fleet and commercial vehicles.
• Solid understanding of health & safety regulations.
• Full, clean driving licence.

Responsabilités

• Repair and restore a range of fleet vehicles to pre-accident condition.
• Carry out structural and cosmetic repairs, panel replacement, and refinishing surfaces to a high standard.
• Assess damage and plan repairs with attention to time and cost.
• Ensure safety and maintain paperwork accurately and on time.
• Support apprentices and trainees within the team.
• Report changes to vehicles or equipment to the Line Manager.
