Perfect Placement UK Ltd in Dartford, Kent is helping a family-run accident repair centre recruit a skilled Panel Beater to join their team. You will remove, repair and replace damaged panels, realign chassis and perform welding with care to quality.

This full-time role runs Monday to Friday, 7am to 4pm, with overtime opportunities and a clear path for progression. NVQ/IMI Level 3 preferred but not essential, with ongoing training and a supportive team.

Duties of a Panel Beater:

• Removing, repairing, and replacing damaged body panels efficiently and accurately
• Realigning chassis and structural components using industry-standard jig work
• Performing welding procedures, ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards
• Filling, sanding, and finishing panels to achieve a smooth, professional finish
• Conducting comprehensive quality checks prior to vehicle handover
• Collaborating closely with a team of experienced technicians to ensure repair standards are maintained

Requirements of a Panel Beater:

• Proven experience as a Panel Beater within crash or accident repair settings
• Strong knowledge of body repair techniques, welding, and panel jig systems
• Relevant qualifications in vehicle body repair, such as NVQ/IMI Level 3 (preferred but not essential)
• High attention to detail and a commitment to delivering quality workmanship
• Ability to work efficiently under pressure and meet deadlines
• Good understanding of health and safety procedures in a repair environment
