Vector Recruitment Solutions Ltd is seeking a hands-on Transport Coordinator / Fleet Support for an office-based role in Horsham. You will ensure vehicles, equipment and personnel are in the right place at the right time while keeping the fleet safe and compliant.

The role combines transport coordination with practical fleet support, requiring strong organisation, IT skills and the ability to work independently. A Full UK Driving Licence is essential for success in this position.

Qualifications

• Experience in transport, logistics or fleet coordination.
• Practical mechanical skills for minor repairs.
• Strong organisational and communication skills.
• Full UK Driving Licence (essential).

Responsibilities

• Coordinate the daily movement of vehicles, plant, equipment and personnel.
• Schedule transport to meet operational requirements.
• Liaise with drivers, suppliers, hire companies and site teams.
• Maintain transport schedules, fleet records and compliance documentation.
• Monitor MOTs, servicing, inspections and vehicle performance.
• Assist with route planning and resolve transport issues.
• Deliver and collect vehicle parts, equipment and company vehicles.
• Carry out minor vehicle repairs and maintenance, including tyres, wing mirrors, bulbs and safety checks.
• Report vehicle defects and arrange repairs.
• Provide general logistical support to operational teams.
