Job summary

V.Group is seeking a Fleet Systems Support Officer based in Southampton to assist with implementing and maintaining PMS and ERP platforms across vessels and offices. You will install, train, and support users while ensuring data integrity and regulatory compliance.

The role involves project coordination, data migration, and ongoing enhancement of cloud-based tools to improve project management, workflow, and collaboration within a global maritime operation.

Qualifications

• Recognised qualification in Maritime Studies, Marine Engineering or Mechanical Engineering.
• Proficiency with PMS, CMMS and ERP software.
• High IT literacy and proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
• Self-motivated with ability to follow a structured training/ rollout schedule.

Responsibilities

• Quality Assurance: Perform quality checks of the systems to ensure technical integrity, accuracy, and adherence to manufacturer and regulatory guidelines.
• Implementation and Training: Install and rollout systems with support from the IT Department on vessels and offices then provide comprehensive training and troubleshooting to end-users.
• Support and Troubleshooting: Process approved support requests and queries from vessels and office colleagues, resolving issues and making necessary modifications to the systems as requested.
• Project Management: Plan, execute, and monitor project timelines, liaising with clients and office colleagues to ensure smooth delivery, regular project progress reports and project completion within the timeline. Deliver support for projects onboard vessels and colleagues offices
• Data Migration: Support the IT Department in migrating existing data from legacy systems to new platforms and systems.
• Demonstrate: Be able to demonstrate the systems to existing clients, prospective clients, internal business units and colleagues.
• Progressive: Aid in the development of cloud-based work management and collaboration platforms for project management, workflow automation, and team collaboration.
