Job summary

Windracers is seeking a Fleet Support and Spares Lead to plan, lead and manage the fleet support vehicles, ground support equipment and spare parts essential for global flying operations. You will drive maintenance, records, procurement liaison, and compliance across base and deployed locations.

The role requires extensive experience in fleet management, inventory control, and ERP systems, with strong leadership and stakeholder communication skills.

Qualifications

• Experience managing vehicle fleets, tool inventories and support equipment across multiple domains.
• Experience maintaining and husbanding fleet assets and equipment.
• Experience using fleet availability/deployment and fault reporting systems.
• Experience with spare parts inventory systems (ERP or similar).
• Strong communication and prioritisation skills.
• Willingness to operate from remote locations UK/overseas as needed.

Responsibilities

• Plan and lead the disposition of aircraft fleet support vehicles, ground support equipment and spare parts to enable flying operations globally.
• Manage allocation and recording of Ground Support Equipment for Flight and MMRO operations.
• Oversee scheduled maintenance, calibration and inspections of fleet vehicles and ground support equipment.
• Oversee repair of faults on fleet vehicles and equipment.
• Manage relationships with procurement for third party maintenance and spare parts.
• Maintain spares for MMRO and deployed operations using ERP/inventory systems.
• Ensure safety, quality, and regulatory compliance within your area.
