Job summary

Windracers Ltd in Fareham, UK, is seeking a Fleet Support and Spares Manager to plan, lead and coordinate the handling of ground support equipment, vehicles and spares to support Windracers flying operations globally.

You will manage supplier relationships, oversee MMRO activities, ensure safety, quality and regulatory compliance, and develop the team to meet evolving scale-up needs. This role requires strong logistics, inventory control and ERP proficiency, with occasional remote site work.

Qualifications

• Experience in managing vehicle fleets, tool inventories and support equipment (air, automotive, marine or rail)
• Experience applying fleet management systems (availability management, deployment, fault reporting)
• Experience with spare parts inventory management systems (ERP or similar)
• Ability to adapt and learn new skills
• Empathetic and skilful communicator used to dealing with competing priorities

Responsibilities

• Plan, lead and conduct disposition of aircraft fleet support vehicles, ground support equipment and spare parts to enable flying operations globally
• Manage allocation and recording of Ground Support Equipment and vehicles for Flight and MMRO operations
• Oversee scheduled maintenance, calibration and inspections of fleet support equipment and vehicles
• Manage repair of faults on fleet support vehicles and ground support equipment
• Coordinate with procurement for third party maintenance and spare parts for MMRO and deployments
• Maintain spare parts for base MMRO and deployed operations using ERP systems
• Collate feedback on spares support and equipment allocation for deployments
• Ensure safety, quality, and regulatory compliance within your area
• Lead continuous improvement and staff development within the Fleet Support and Spares team
