Job summary

Dnata in Bristol is seeking a Fleet Maintenance Engineer to safeguard the airline catering fleet, ensure legal compliance, and maximise operational availability for 24/7 service. You will manage maintenance planning and coordinate with on-site operations.

With hands-on experience in GSE/LGV/HGV/PSV or plant in a workshop, you will lead supplier performance, conduct inspections, and drive continuous improvement while maintaining a strong safety culture.

Qualifications

• Experience in workshop maintenance of GSE/LGV/HGV/PSV or plant assets.
• Confident in decision making and working under pressure.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management abilities.

Responsibilities

• Maintain fleet compliance with legal and company requirements.
• Maximise fleet availability and coordinate maintenance activities.
• Monitor MOT compliance and first-time pass targets.
• Provide engineering guidance to operations and suppliers.
• Lead audits, supplier performance reviews and cost control.
• Carry out on-site repairs and oversee external maintenance providers.
• Invest in continuous improvement to enhance reliability and efficiency.
• Ensure health and safety policies are followed on site.
