Job summary

Santander Consumer Finance is seeking a Fleet Operations Executive to join our Newport Pagnell & Milton Keynes team on a 12 month fixed term contract. The role involves administrative duties to efficiently manage a business customer’s vehicle fleet, processing fines, invoices and regulatory tasks, with a focus on accuracy and customer service.

The position is hybrid, requiring at least 3 days in the Newport Pagnell office for the first six months, then moving to Milton Keynes.

Qualifications

• Previous collections experience is preferred but not essential.
• Strong customer service experience and a confident telephone manner.
• Excellent negotiation, numeracy and attention to detail.
• Discretion and professionalism when handling sensitive financial matters.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word) and basic fleet systems.

Responsibilities

• Process incoming post, fines and email enquiries to support fleet operations.
• Manage V5, parking permits, travel documents and invoice processing.
• Produce reports and management information; maintain accurate records.
• Support defleet process and arrange collection of vehicles and end of contract billing.
• Maintain client contacts, respond to enquiries, and ensure KPI targets are met.
• Assist with policy/process drafting and monthly reporting obligations.
