Job summary

Babcock is seeking a Fleet Supervisor for the Chatham, Kent area to coordinate fleet resources, drive safety compliance and deliver contractual commitments. You will manage drivers, oversee fleet records and DVSA compliance, and work with stakeholders to maintain high service standards.

Based onsite with a Monday–Friday 37-hour week, the role requires knowledge of EU Drivers' Hours, a UK driving licence with PSV entitlement, and the ability to lead a team in a fast-paced environment while

Qualifications

• Experience in transport, fleet or logistics operations.
• Knowledge of EU Drivers' Hours and Working Time Regulations.
• Proven ability to manage teams and meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Ensure all scheduled vehicles, equipment and personnel remain compliant and operationally ready.
• Manage and update fleet administration systems and transport records in line with company policies and DVSA Operator Licence requirements.
• Support and supervise a team of drivers to ensure contractual obligations are achieved.
• Maintain compliance with all health, safety and environmental requirements.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and support contract objectives.
