Job summary

Blueleaf Limited is seeking an experienced Transport Manager to oversee the day-to-day operation and compliance of our fleet at our Crawley depot. The role is on-site, 40 hours per week, Mon-Fri 8:00am–5:00pm, focusing on safe, efficient transport and regulatory compliance.

You will manage a 30+ Vehicle fleet using TMS, telematics and ePOD systems, drive continuous improvement, and lead the transport team with proactive stakeholder engagement. CPC and UK driving licence are essential.

Qualifications

• CPC valid in Road Transport.
• Full UK driving licence required.
• Experience with digital fleet management and TMS/telematics.
• Proven transport management and logistics planning 3–5 years.
• Strong knowledge of UK transport legislation & health & safety policies.
• Data analysis for decision making; proactive leadership.
• Excellent communication with large teams and stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day operation and compliance of fleet.
• Maintain licence undertakings and fleet records.
• Manage 30+ vehicle fleet and optimise utilisation with TMS/telematics/EpOD.
• Balance efficiency with driver welfare and safety.
• Lead, coach and develop the transport team.
• Control costs and plan resources for service delivery.
• Coordinate with operations to drive improvements.
• Address conduct and performance issues.
• Provide KPI and financial updates to Head of Logistics.
• Oversee PCNs, fines and tolls; audit compliance.
• Ensure ongoing CPC, safety and qualifications for drivers.
