Fleet Manager - Bournemouth (Permanent/Full Time)

Salary: £37,500 (£55,000 OTE)

Job Summary

Due to business growth, my client is seeking a Toyota and Lexus Fleet Manager to join the team in Bournemouth. This role involves leading an established Sales Team to drive sales growth for the Toyota and Lexus brands. This role demands a passion for the Toyota and Lexus brands and a commitment to representing them effectively while supporting the wider company goals.

Your Day

As the Toyota and Lexus Fleet Manager, your goal is to meet sales and financial targets by managing the Sales Department’s plans and budgets in line with Brand requirements. Key responsibilities include:

  1. Team Leadership: Lead and motivate the Corporate Sales Managers to hit sales targets, review performance, and support team growth.
  2. Customer Engagement: Reach out to clients via calls, emails, and meetings to understand their needs and offer suitable products or services, prioritising Toyota and Lexus solutions.
  3. Sales Strategy: Develop and present sales pitches, collaborate with the marketing team on campaigns, and align departmental goals with sales targets.
  4. Market Opportunities: Research market trends, uncover new leads, and identify opportunities for increased sales.
  5. Collaboration: Work closely with manufacturers to secure the best deals for customers and ensure strong relationships with Fleet department contacts.
  6. Data and Reporting: Analyse sales data, prepare forecasts, and present reports to management with actionable recommendations.
  7. Aftersales Support: Provide excellent follow-up services to maintain long-term customer relationships and boost revenue.
  8. Networking and Knowledge Sharing: Attend events and trade shows, share best practices within the team, and promote a strong team culture.
Must Have
  • Technical knowledge gained in retail motor industry.
  • Numerate and articulate.
  • A full driving licence.
  • Inspiring leadership and teamwork.
  • Delivers excellent customer service - experience in a similar sales environment.
  • Develops self and others - experience managing a team.
  • Delivers results and makes things happen - target-driven sales experience.
  • Sound knowledge of Toyota and Lexus brands and operating practices (desirable).
