Job summary

Perfect Placement UK Ltd is recruiting a Fleet Manager for a flagship site in Bognor Regis, West Sussex, to oversee a fleet of 550+ vehicles and drive efficiency, compliance and customer satisfaction.

You will coordinate maintenance, DVSA compliance, and supplier relationships, delivering cost controls, performance KPIs, and safe transport across the UK, with opportunities for progression in a modern working environment.

Qualifications

• Experience managing a large and varied fleet, including cars, vans and HGVs.
• Strong knowledge of DVSA regulations and road transport legislation.
• Ability to implement KPIs and continuous improvement.
• Excellent organisational and communication skills.
• Experience coordinating with internal teams and suppliers.

Responsibilities

• Manage and ensure compliance of a fleet of over 550 vehicles, including courtesy cars and commercial vehicles
• Oversee vehicle maintenance, servicing, inspections, MOTs, and driver compliance
• Analyse fleet performance, utilisation, and operational costs, implementing KPIs and continuous improvement strategies
• Coordinate vehicle allocation and availability to optimise customer service and repair capacity
• Establish and maintain relationships with internal teams, suppliers, leasing providers, and maintenance partners
• Ensure all fleet operations adhere to DVSA regulations and relevant road transport legislation
• Handle vehicle documentation, compliance records, and reporting requirements
• Lead initiatives to improve fleet efficiency and safety standards
