Job summary

Royal Mail in the West Midlands is recruiting Workshop Shift Supervisors for a permanent role at West Midlands Workshop (B70 0EB). The position offers stability in a large, green fleet operation, with a salary package up to £65k and comprehensive benefits.

Reporting to the Fleet Workshop Manager, you will lead a shift of technicians, ensure safety and quality, and drive performance in a busy commercial vehicle workshop.

Qualifications

• Qualified to Level 3 in Light or Heavy vehicle or equivalent.
• Experience leading vehicle technicians and promoting H&S.
• Full UK manual driving licence; HGV licence preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead a shift of technicians and conduct weekly team meetings.
• Perform inspections, diagnostics, maintenance and repair on vehicles and trailers.
• Utilise personal toolkit for routine maintenance and repairs.
• Access to specialist tooling and shared equipment in modern workshops.
• Maintain accurate work orders and vehicle documentation.
