Job summary

John Lewis Partnership is seeking a skilled Vehicle Technician for the Magna Park workshop near Milton Keynes to maintain the on-site e-commerce light commercial fleet. You will also repair outlying commercial vehicles for John Lewis and Waitrose branches, applying best practices and cost-effective repair techniques.

The role offers a permanent contract, full-time hours on a 2-week rota, and premium overtime rates for evenings and nights.

Qualifications

• City and Guilds Level 1,2 and 3 Vehicle technician or equivalent qualifications.
• Full UK Manual Driving Licence.
• A proven background in transport commercial vehicle repairs.
• Knowledge of commercial vehicle legislation and roadworthiness.

Responsibilities

• Carry out scheduled repair and maintenance of the on-site E commerce light commercial fleet.
• Carry out repair and maintenance of outlying commercial and light commercial vehicles for John Lewis and Waitrose branches and CDHs.
• Ensure repairs use spare parts and consumables cost-effectively while meeting quality standards.
