Job summary

John Lewis Partnership is seeking a Vehicle Technician for our Bracknell workshop to maintain and repair our HGV fleet to DVSA and Partnership standards. You will work with experienced technicians and develop your knowledge while supporting apprentices in the team.

The role is permanent and full-time (37.5 hours/week) with a rotating two-week schedule and shifts from 22:00–06:00. Overtime is readily available.

Qualifications

• City and Guilds Level 3 Vehicle Technician or equivalent.
• Full UK Manual Driving Licence.
• Proven background in transport commercial vehicle repairs.
• Knowledge of commercial vehicle legislation and roadworthiness.

Responsibilities

• Maintain large HGV lorries to DVSA and Partnership standards.
• Complete inspections, services and defect sheets daily.
• Apply best practices and cost-effective repair techniques.
