Fleet Field Service Engineer — Diagnostics, Install & Repair

Job summary

TSG UK is seeking a Field Service Engineer to join our Fleet division. You will conduct regular maintenance, testing and inspection, and respond to reactive breakdown service requests on a range of equipment.

You’ll also complete necessary paperwork for quality and safety inspections. You will travel to client sites, diagnose issues, perform repairs, install equipment, and generate service reports while maintaining strong customer relationships.

Qualifications

• Experience using hand tools.
• Technical awareness.
• Mechanical or electrical experience, either professionally or through self interest.
• Ability to voltage test AC/DC single and three phase supplies is a plus!
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to interact confidently and professionally.
• Flexible approach with the ability to work alone or as part of a team.
• Understanding of PC hardware (networking and IT troubleshooting)
• Full drivers license.
• Comfortable working at height.

Responsibilities

• Daily diagnostic testing, troubleshooting and repair of customer equipment.
• Installation and commissioning of new equipment.
• Maintain and enhance customer relationships.
• Produce timely and accurate service reports.
• Ensure all calls are attended promptly and within set SLA.
• Ensure all company equipment is properly maintained and in good working order at all times.
