Job summary

PDT Fleet Training Solutions is recruiting freelance Fleet Driver Trainers/Instructors/Assessors to deliver a mix of classroom and on-road driver induction or upgrade courses at client sites across Great Britain. You will work with prestigious clients, choosing days you want to work and handling both half-day and full-day sessions.

Compensation includes £105 for half-day courses and up to £210 for full-day sessions, with occasional weekend work at enhanced rates and fuel supplements depending on

Qualifications

• Accredited as an ADI Fleet Trainer or listed on LGV NIR.
• Strong training delivery and report writing.
• Experience delivering EV training is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Deliver half- and full-day coaching and assessment sessions at client sites.
• Ensure timely completion of accurate assessment reports.
• Coordinate scheduling across Great Britain.

Job description

PDT Fleet Training Solutions is looking to onboard several Freelance Fleet Driver Trainers/ Instructors/ Assessors at multiple locations across Great Britain. This role involves working with prestigious clients and delivering a mix of classroom and on-road driver induction or upgrade courses at locations across the country. Successful candidates will have the opportunity to work for the UK's fastest growing and forward-thinking providers of fleet driver training.

Duties

• Delivering both half and full-day coaching and assessment sessions on client premises in category B Vehicles (mostly vans).
• Half-day courses are 4 hours in duration.
• Timely completion of an accurate assessment report.
• Your laptop and printer (all course presentation material is provided by PDT).

Skills and Experience

• Desirable qualifications include being accredited as an (ADI) Approved Driving Instructor Fleet Trainer or recorded on the LGV National Instructors Register (NIR).
• A proactive approach to delivering engaging and inclusive training (positive driver behaviours are to be promoted).
• Experience in delivering courses in electric vehicles (free upskill training is available to the right applicants).
• Professional approach to the delivery of safe driving PowerPoint presentations.
• Excellent communication and report‑writing skills.
