Job summary

PDT Fleet Training Solutions is seeking freelance Fleet Driver Trainers/Instructors/Assessors to deliver a mix of classroom and on-road driver induction or upgrade courses at locations across Great Britain.

You will work with prestigious clients and manage your diary, with roles across the country and flexible days. Competitive pay and ongoing CPD opportunities are provided.

Qualifications

• Desirable: accredited as an (ADI) Approved Driving Instructor Fleet Trainer or on LGV NIR.
• Experience delivering EV courses (free upskill training available).
• Professional delivery of safe driving PowerPoint presentations.
• Excellent communication and report‑writing skills.

Responsibilities

• Deliver half- and full-day coaching and assessment sessions on client premises (category B).</=
• Deliver courses across Great Britain with on-road and classroom elements.
• Timely completion of accurate assessment reports.

Job description

PDT Fleet Training Solutions is looking to onboard several Freelance Fleet Driver Trainers/ Instructors/ Assessors at multiple locations across Great Britain. This role involves working with prestigious clients and delivering a mix of classroom and on-road driver induction or upgrade courses at locations across the country. Successful candidates will have the opportunity to work for the UK's fastest growing and forward-thinking providers of fleet driver training.

Duties

• Delivering both half and full-day coaching and assessment sessions on client premises in category B Vehicles (mostly vans).
• Half-day courses are 4 hours in duration.
• Timely completion of an accurate assessment report.
• Your laptop and printer (all course presentation material is provided by PDT).

Skills and Experience

• Desirable qualifications include being accredited as an (ADI) Approved Driving Instructor Fleet Trainer or recorded on the LGV National Instructors Register (NIR).
• A proactive approach to delivering engaging and inclusive training (positive driver behaviours are to be promoted).
• Experience in delivering courses in electric vehicles (free upskill training is available to the right applicants).
• Professional approach to the delivery of safe driving PowerPoint presentations.
• Excellent communication and report‑writing skills.
